Beau is a landscape photographer based in Seattle, Washington, whose work is rooted in a lifelong connection to the outdoors. Growing up in Washington, he spent much of his time hiking through forests, mountains, and coastlines—developing an early appreciation for scale, solitude, and wild places.

In high school, he picked up his first camera, a Nikon D300, and quickly fell in love with photography. What began as a way to document his time outside evolved into a passion for capturing the feeling of being small in something vast.

By day, Beau is a kindergarten teacher, but each summer he trades the classroom for the trail—spending his time traveling and backpacking through remote landscapes with his camera in hand. His work often places him in the frame, marked by a signature yellow jacket, emphasizing the relationship between people and the environments they explore.

His photography has been featured on the cover of Backpacker Magazine, reflecting his focus on storytelling, adventure, and the quiet moments found in nature.
